I am shocked, saddened and disgusted at the events that took place in my city last night. I know it’s being said (at least here on local news stations), but it’s worth saying over and over again. This was the act of few, and in no way represents Vancouver and it’s people. Remember how wonderful we looked during the Olympics? That’s us. Really and truly it is. Watching the events unfold on TV last night I was glad to be home safe with my family (and that all other members of my family were accounted for). My heart hurts.

Sadly, this stuff goes on all the time in L.A. Whether the Lakers win or lose or the Dodgers. I don’t know what gets into people. Very, very sad…
