So I’m a little bit nutty, but I think that’s OK. Don’t you?

I have all these ideas swimming around in my head. Either from seeing something I want to try on another blog or just something that I’ve come up with. It will go down on a piece of paper or get bookmarked online and then inevitably get lost and forgotten. No more, I say!

A little introduction – I’m Michelle. I’m a mom to a crazy little boy that amazes and surprises me every day.

I have no plans to put constraints on what exactly this blog will be. Right now I see it as a place to collect ideas, show off what I accomplish and waste time.  Plus there will be the obligatory look how cute my cat/kid/husband is posts, I’m sure.

About the name – DohDums is what my little brother would call my sister and I when we were younger. I think it was his word for “sister” or perhaps “annoying”. Nevertheless, when trying to come up with a succinct name for the blog that wasn’t taken, DohDums kept popping into my head, so here you go. Let’s face it, there was no way I was ever going to get michelle.wordpress.com so DohDums it is.
